Kevin Horlock started his career as a trainee with West Ham United and moved to Swindon Town in 1993.
Over the next few seasons he made his name as a versatile midfielder capable of playing on the left or in the centre, or at left back, so much so that in January 1997, Frank Clarke made Kevin one of his first signings as manager of Manchester City for a transfer fee reported as being £1.5 million.
Kevin spent 6 years at Manchester City making 232 appearances scoring 44 goals during which he made 32 international appearances for Northern Ireland.
In 2003 West Ham paid £300,000 for his services and after a brief spell in the capital Kevin went on to play for Ipswich Town, Doncaster Rovers and finally Scunthorpe United, before bringing down on his 18 year professional career and signing for his local Ridgeons Premier side Needham Market as player/assistant manager in August 2008
